It’s a rare glimpse into a massive blind spot: the left is incredibly weird, yet legacy media almost never treats that weirdness as newsworthy.
Remember the early days of Donald Trump? The press spent endless hours of airtime and column inches dissecting MAGA voters. Democrat politicians went so far as to call half the country “deplorables” or worse. The coverage of the era felt like a BBC Planet Earth narrator observing Republicans in the wild.
The irony is that the left is infinitely weirder, yet they get a total pass. The stories are hiding in plain sight.
