✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…

Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…

We love media entrepreneurs.

Clay Travis is back with a candid look at the future of media as he announces his new publication, Sport & State. Having sold Outkick to FOX five years ago, he left the media giant earlier this summer when his contract wrapped up (more on that here).

He says the new venture will be “70% sports, 15% pop culture, and 15% where politics intersects with sports.”

Even more interesting than the launch is Clay’s 4,000-word retrospective and roadmap for the industry. He shares thoughts on FOX, sports and conservative media, ownership, AI, sports betting, live events, and written content.

If you have any interest in the business of media, it’s worth a browse. - NRB

🎙️ NEW MEDIA VOICES

The Ben Shapiro Show - 8/18

Shapiro condemns the “lib women on TikTok” for spreading the conspiracy blaming husband Patrick Clancy for the murder of his children, not the mother Lindsay Clancy
He emphasizes the critical distinction between postpartum depression and the far rarer postpartum psychosis, and that pleading insanity doesn’t mean Lindsay is innocent
Shapiro says it’s right to question whether Lindsay received proper mental health care in time before doing the unthinkable
He criticizes some conservative men who dismissed all forms of postpartum depression as just selfishness
Shapiro concludes with a review of the failed dating app Bumble, which was supposed to give women an advantage online

The Matt Walsh Show - 8/18

Walsh disparages the vigil for Jason Arday in London, which he characterized as a “mass psychosis” and “anti-white” display
He argues Arday, a Cambridge University professor who committed suicide, was a “fraudster” who fabricated data, plagiarized, and held an unearned position
Walsh says far-left leaders like Lord Simon Woolley are using his death to push a “bankrupt ideology” of “social engineering” on racial disparities
He reports some of the activists are demanding government regulation of media for exposing Arday’s fraud

The Sara Gonzales Show - 8/18

Gonzales slams the radical ideology of Eman Abdelhadi, sister of Abdul El-Sayed, who uses her professor position to advocate for replacing capitalist societies with communes
She exposed the “socialism with a smile” strategy employed by figures like Zohran Mamdani, AOC, and Ilhan Omar
Gonzales points out the hypocrisy of marxist streamer Hasan Piker for speaking out against the rich while accumulating wealth himself
She condemns the comments made by Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff about President Trump and aide Natalie Harp, a cancer patient whose life was saved by Trump’s Right to Try legislation

The Liz Wheeler Show - 8/18

Wheeler believes Elon Musk is rightly obsessed with guest Dr. Gad Saad’s research on “suicidal empathy” as the decline of the West
She praises Mark Cuban’s defense of Musk’s wealth, highlighting the economic benefits of billionaires on job rates
Saad explains how “maladaptively irrational altruism” fuels disastrous policies, from open borders to the “blank slate felon” concept which led to the death of Iryna Zarutska and countless others
Wheeler argues religion is necessary to establish a baseline for right versus wrong, so it can’t be twisted to fit the needs of each person
Wheeler says a spiritual revival rooted in Edmund Burke’s concept of an ordered society and God-given rights is necessary to defend freedom
