Jokes aside, a rift is emerging in conservative media over prediction markets.
On one side, The Blaze’s Stu Burguiere just launched a new show dedicated to these markets, and FOX struck a deal with Kalshi to integrate betting data into reporting. Plus, conservative paid influencers are promoting betting sites daily.
On the other hand, hosts like Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, and Dave Ramsey blast the apps and refuse their sponsorship dollars. Some on the right were shocked recently to find themselves aligned with AOC in opposition to betting markets. In the sports world, the trick-shot-shooting, gospel-sharing fellas of Dude Perfect have been outliers in the space for turning down gambling sponsors.
I’d place a sizable bet that this issue sparks extensive debate in 2028. - NRB
