✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…
Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…
For the right, 2028 starts in church, and new Pew data illustrates why: 66% of regular churchgoers recently heard clergy speak on social and political issues. Specifically, a good portion of White evangelical Protestants have heard church leaders speak recently on abortion, homosexuality, and trans topics.
This influence is clearly visible in conservative new media. Allie Beth Stuckey (Evangelical) and Michael Knowles (Catholic) both kicked off the week with shows about how corporate America is trending away from branding June as “Pride Month.”
The new media pushback isn’t new, but the growing influence these voices and their listeners wield is. - NRB
