✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…
Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…
Clips have been the lifeblood of politics and sports for decades, but they’ve recently become the “it” strategy for the tech world. A new Pew Research study explains why: the informed citizen is being replaced by the accidental news consumer.
Pew investigated whether Americans hunt for news or stumble upon it. The shift is stark: 49% of adults now “happen across” news rather than seeking it out—a 10-point jump from 2019.
My Takeaway: This gap will only widen as the war for attention intensifies. Between shrinking attention spans and infinite content, we no longer go to the source; we simply follow the clips crumbs dropped in our path.
