✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…
Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…
Conservatives won the war on Christmas.
But new fronts have emerged, and conservative media readies for battle to defend America’s other favorite holidays.
In Wisconsin, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong called for the cancellation of Thanksgiving while celebrating a new holiday she created, the “Feast of the Feminine,” a “6 Course Dinner Inspired By Menstruation.” Even AOC is trying to distance herself, saying, “woke 1 was crazy.”
In Michigan, Democrat Abdul El-Sayed declared that 4th of July “fireworks suck” according to CNN, while also calling football “toxically masculine culture.”
The takeaway: Cultural battles over American pastimes drive conservative media far more than the standard political and policy debates of the day. They have a lot to work with these days. - NRB
Programming Note: The Brand Brief will be on holiday this Thursday and Friday.
