✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…
Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…
Conservative media powerhouses are finding new ways to maximize their talent’s reach in the podcast era through roundtables. FOX News just rolled out The Girls podcast for cultural commentary, while The Daily Wire launched The District Club in September to tackle political analysis.
These heavyweights know the playbook. FOX’s The Five has topped the charts for 15 years, and the network struck a deal with the Ruthless guys last year. Meanwhile, The Daily Wire debuted Friendly Fire last year to let its top talent spar over the news. Other top-50 conservative podcasts have thrived with the panel format, including Timcast IRL, Josh Howerton, and All-In.
Bottom line: Conservative networks are increasingly using the ensemble format to multiply the reach of their trusted talent. - NRB
