✍️ WHAT MATTERS AND WHERE WE’RE GOING…
Nathan’s quick take on where we’re headed…
You gotta hand it to Clay Travis.
On Monday, his center-right sports and culture site, Outkick, announced a full integration into FOX News—think The Athletic joining The New York Times.
Over the last decade, Travis carved out a massive niche in the conservative ecosystem by capitalizing on the cultural shifts in sports, from the 2017 anthem protests to boys in girls' sports to the woke insanity of 2020.
Travis hasn’t followed anyone else’s playbook, and the risk has paid off. You have to respect the hustle of a guy who went from lawyer to sports blogger, to Rush Limbaugh’s radio replacement, to a major FOX acquisition.
The bottom line: Culture—sports, faith, and entertainment—is the real driver for right-of-center audiences. Travis capitalized on it. - NRB
